How many functional democracies are there in the Arab world? No, Turks aren't Arabs. Most of the governments in the Arab world are either military strongmen or hereditary monarchs or a combination of both. Few represent the best wishes of their peoples. If Saddam can be kicked out of power, who's next to go? If the Arab League is afraid of an attack, it means it might just be a good idea.
